Amitabh Bachchan has been ruling Bollywood for around five decade now but even he has seen tough times. At one point in his career Amitabh was at his lowest and had so struggle to survive in the industry as well as in life. In a recent podcast, Abhishek Bachchan recalled those days when nothing was working out for his father. He said, "Well, truth be told, I left university — I was studying in Boston University. I had declared my major as liberal arts, and then I majored in performing arts. And I left my education because my father was going through this really rough time, financially. He had started this business called ABCL."
He further stated, “I don’t think I was qualified to help him in any which way, but I just felt that as a son, I needed to be around my father, and help in whatever way. So I left my college and came back. I started helping him in his company." Abhishek then reminisced the night when Big B called him I to his study and told him about their financial instability. He told Abhishek, ".. movies aren’t working out, the business isn’t working out, nothing is working out."
Apparently, the things went better when Amit ji revealed his situation to Yash Chopra who gave him an important role in the film 'Mohabattein'. From there everything fell into place and Mr Bachchan repayed all his loans.
