Abhishek Bachchan out, Mahesh Babu in - Business Man

Finally the screen ‘business’ deal has been shifted to Telugu star Mahesh Babu, which was earlier signed with Abhishek Bachchan…. We are talking about the Hindi version of director Puri Jagannath's ‘Business Man’ that has gone for the replacement of late.

Post release of Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’, news had been that the film’s director is going to work with the megastar’s son Abhishek. It was then said that the film ‘Business Man’ will have Mahesh Babu in Telugu while Abhishek in Hindi.

Now that the Telugu version is slated to release next week, latest development has it that the helmer has opted for Mahesh for the Hindi project as well, instead of Jr.B.

According to sources, Puri feels that Abhishek doesn’t have enough fire that the movie demands. “After looking at Abhishek's recent track record, we realised it won't be in favour of the film,” quoted the director to sources. ‘Business Man’ revolves around a gangster who treats his profession as an organized business.

Another reason is that, after the release of ‘Bbuddah…’ Puri faced unsatisfying response from the film’s co-producing banner, AB Corp, regarding contract issues. However the director maintains that although he is still an ardent fan of Big B, he had bad experience post the film’s release.

As of now the only problem is that Mahesh is not fluent in Hindi; however Puri shows no qualms about it and believes that the Tollywood star’s immense popularity will help to solve the issue.
