Earlier speculations were rife that Abhishek Bachchan and Asin will be working again post ‘Bol Bachchan’ in ‘OMG! Oh My God’ famed director Umesh Shukla’s next. However now there has been change of events and surprising as that...!

Buzz is that Kareen Kapoor will be paired opposite Abhishek... Umesh Shukla had tough time deciding on the female lead for Abhishek for his next project, ‘Mere Apne’, a family drama. Several A-list actresses names were considered, but only recently the director made his final choice. Apparently Shukla had a lengthy, serious discussion with Kareena, including script narration.

Kareena, who got interested in the project, said to be giving serious thought about working on it.

It can be noted that both Jr.Bachchan and Bebo who worked earlier in ‘Refugee’ and ‘Mein Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’, were not in good terms. The Bachchan and Kapoor relationship had soured after the engagement of Abhishek and Karisma (Kareena’s sis) was called off. However looks like now things are getting smoothened.

According to sources, ‘Mere Sapne’ also stars Kareena’s uncle Rishi Kapoor, playing as Abhishek’s father.

Meanwhile Kareena is also sharing screen space with Abhishek’s father, megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’.
