Abhishek Bachchan honoured with the KC Diamond League Award for Exceptional Actor

Mumbai's KC College celebrates its Diamond Jubilee this year and as part of the grand finale of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, KC College recognized and paid tribute to individuals who have contributed and made a difference to society.

The college introduced the Diamond League Awards that were conferred on personalities who have been trail blazers in their respective fields. On the occasion actor,producer and The Jaipur Pink Panthers & Chennaiyin FC owner Abhishek Bachchan , was honored with the KC Diamond League Award for Exceptional Actor at the Valedictory function.

Says Manju Nichani, Principal KC College,"Abhishek is a noted film actor and producer who has impressed the audience with his fine portrayal of varied characters.While he received critical acclaim for films like Guru,Paa and Yuva - he also won the National award as co-producer of Paa.We regard him as an extraordinary actor.Abhishek has also worked towards several social beneficial ventures including creating awareness of drug abuse in India as part of a citizen education campaign.He has also supported Mumbai Police 's initiative for biker's safety
