Abhishek Bachchan, who was hospitalized along with his father Amitabh Bachchan on July 11 after they tested positive for Covid-19, on Saturday tested negative for the virus. He was admitted at the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai and is now in fine health.
"A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. Thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!," the 'Raavan' and 'Breathe: Into The Shadows' actor tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Abhishek mourned the Air India crash in Kozhikode. "Prayers for all involved in the Air India crash," he tweeted.
He took longer than his father to kick out the virus because of some co-morbidities. Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aaradhya had tested negative within ten days of contracting the virus.
