Producer Neelam Krishna Reddy has sold the distribution rights of Vikram-starrer 'Inkokkadu' to Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures. On this occasion, he has also confirmed that the movie, a dubbed version of 'Iru Mugun', will hit the screens in the second week of September.

Also starring Nayanathara and Nithya Menen, it has been directed by Anand Shankar. "Our objective has always been to bring quality cinema to the audience. The producer Shibu Tameens and director Anand Shankar have made Inkokkadu on high technical values. Music director Harris Jayaraj, cinematographer RD Rajashekar and editor Bhuvan Srinivasan are the names. That says it all," the producer says. Reddy had shelled out a fancy price to lay his hands on the rights of this ambitious venture. The rights price was pegged at more than Rs. 11 cr, something unheard of for a Vikram film.

The makers are happy that the recently-released trailer has been getting a rave response.
