Abhirami Venkatachalam got good reviews for her role in Thala Ajith's 'Nerkonda Paarvai' and her 'Bigg Boss 3' stint too has gained her huge popularity. She is currently playing a small but significant role in Chiyaan Vikram's 'Dhruva Natchathiram/' directed by Gautham Menon which is expected to resume shooting by the year-end.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Abhirami has bagged a powerful antagonist role in a new female-centric movie in which she will be pitted against Anushka also to be directed by Gautham Menon. The script is by legendary Bengali filmmaker Govind Nihalani and is produced by Vels Films International. The official announcement of this as yet untitled project is expected pretty soon.
