'Force 2' director Abhinay Deo is eager to team up with friend cum writer Akshat Verma so that they can team up for a sequel of the movie 'Delhi Belly'. Abhinay said, "We had thought of it (sequel). But the writer Akshat Verma is doing another film right now and I am busy with my own work. So hopefully in a few years we will be able to do a sequel".

Abhinay also added that, "I discussed the sequel with Aamir and Akshat. Both are excited with the offer. Akshat had taken nine years to make the film and this time if it happens he might take a little less time. I think 'Kya Kool Hai Hum' and 'Masti' series are different from Delhi Belly`. Our film was a smart adult comedy and it opened doors for a different kind of films."

This Imran Khan-starrer adult comedy movie was the super hit film in 2011. This movie was produced by Aamir Khan Productions and it featured Imran, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala in the lead.

On the career basis Abhinay is currently working on two projects - Season two of TV series '24' and 'Force 2' that features John Abrahaam and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.
