Fire broke out during the shooting of an important part of 'ABDC 2' recently. As per media reports, the team including actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva, cast Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Lauren Gottlieb, were rehearsing for the dance finale sequence or the film, when suddenly a bulb in the ceiling blew up and the paper which was stuck on it caught fire. Immediately there was a short-circuit and the entire set was engulfed in flames within seconds.

Besides the star cast, there were nearly 700 dancers including foreigners who were immediately evacuated from the sets and hence no one was injured.Sources added that while fire brigade was called immediately, but it took some time for them to arrive and by the time they doused the fire, the entire set was destroyed.
