Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj and Sana Khan play leads in this film. Directed by Hosimin, who used to assist director Shankar during the latter's projects like 'Indian,' 'Jeans' and 'Mudhalvan,' this upcoming film is touted to be an action-packed romantic thriller.

During 2005, Hosimin, who used to assist director Shankar till then, suddenly took on the director's cape. The first film that he directed was 'February 14' that had Bharath and Renuka Menon playing leads. Now the director is back with 'Aayiram Vilakku,' which according to the director is about a friendship between a senior citizen and a young man. Shanthnoo, Sana Khan and Sathyaraj essay important roles in this film.

The film saw some glitches while progressing due to some financial crunch but has surged past all that and now is lining up for release. Though Shanthnoo and Sana Khan play leads in the film, Sathyaraj's role is talked to be the show stealer. 'Aayiram Vilakku' is all set to hit theatres this Friday (September 23) and music for the film is by Srikanth Deva. The film is produced by HMI Pictures.
