Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan's career is in an incredible phase right now. His last film 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' was a huge success and he has an amazing lineup of films currently under production as well. Apart from all that, it was recently announced that Kartik will headline the next installment of popular romance film franchise 'Aashiqui'.

Ever since this news broke out, there have been several speculations about leading lady in this much anticipated project. It was being reported that tv star Jennifer Winget has been approached for the part.

However, makers of the film turned all these rumors down by issuing an official statement that read, "There is no truth to any rumours pertaining to the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in ‘Aashiqui 3.’ The search for the perfect fit for the movie is still ongoing. We are currently in a very early stage where we are still coming up with ideas for the movie. Much like the audience, we are eagerly awaiting to finalise the female lead of the film and would love to share it with the fans as early as possible."
