The high-profile divorce case between actor Ravi Mohan (popularly known as Jayam Ravi) and his wife Aarthi took a dramatic turn as both parties appeared in court for the latest hearing.
During the proceedings, a petition was filed on behalf of Ravi Mohan, clearly stating that he no longer wishes to continue living with Aarthi and is seeking a legal divorce. The petition also requested the court to reject Aarthi’s plea for reconciliation.
In a significant development, Aarthi Ravi has filed a fresh petition demanding a monthly maintenance of ?40 lakh from Ravi Mohan as part of the separation.
The court has instructed both sides to submit their responses to each other’s petitions and has scheduled the next hearing for June 12.
Aarthi’s request for such a substantial maintenance amount has sparked widespread discussion within the film and media circles, adding a new layer of public intrigue to the already widely followed case.
