Aari and Ashna Zaveri are the lead pair in this week's release 'Nagesh Thiraiarangam' directed by Mohammed Issack and produced by Rajendra M Rajan and Pushpa Rajan. The shooting of the film was stopped suddenly as popular actor Anand Babu went to court objecting to the use of his father, legendary actor, Nagesh's name and a theater he owned in T-Nagar as the title.
The court rejected Anand Babu's plea and shooting resumed with 'Nagesh Thiraiarangam' title and now at the time of release once again the dancing star approached the court seeking to stop the release. The court has refused to stall the release of the film but instead asked the filmmakers to put up a disclaimer card stating that the film has no connetion with the veteran comedian or his theater. The producers were also asked to pay twenty lakhs rupees to the court and continue with the release.
'Nagesh Thiraiarangam' a horror thriller is releasing as planned on February 16 and will lock horns at the box office with Bala's 'Naachiyaar' and 'Veera' starring Kreshna and Karunakaran.
