The film's production began in March and the first look poster showed the actor in a menacing look Earlier today Aari posted a video in which he has introduced Pujita Ponnada the heroine of 'Bhagavan' and there is some friendly banter between the two costars with him commenting about her name and she too taking it sportingly.

Pujita Ponnada mostly works in the Telugu film industry. is well-known for her important characters in the films 'Rangasthalam' and 'Kalki'. This marks her Tamil debut and she has completed shooting her portions while two more days remain for Aari.

Kalingan is the director of 'Bhagavan' while Prasan Bala composes the music. Murugan Saravanan is handling the cinematography, and Athul Vijay the editing. The film will go into postproduction and is expected to release later this year.
