After kick-starting his TV debut Satyamev Jayate on Star Plus, raising insightful issues of female foeticide in the premier episode, megastar Aamir Khan is said to be slowly but steadily moving towards tackling more such sensitive issues.

His next topic is reported to be on the issue of child sexual abuse. It is rumoured that the second episode of Satyamev Jayate will cover people who have survived sexual abuse in their childhood, as well as parents who are coping up with the knowledge about their kin having been subjected to similar crimes.

When asked about this, Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar remarked, “Sexual abuse during childhood is an extremely delicate matter. Public declarations by adult survivors could be shocking to the core.”

He added, “It could be a very complicated and tricky subject to deal with, but increased media coverage of child sexual abuse instances, including that of infants, could go a long way in containing the heinous crimes.”

Meanwhile, the first episode of Satyamev Jayete continued to receive a good response on the social media network.

“Aamir Khan's show can bring a revolution. Thoroughly researched, covers all aspects, touches emotional chord and forces us to re-examine ourselves,” posted Shabana Azmi on Twitter. “Watching Aamir Khan on Satyamev Jayate discussing female foeticide. I love this effort from him and thank him as a woman!” posted Preity Zinta.
