Speculations were rife that Mallika Sherawat will probably play Aamir Khan's wife in his next film 'Dangal'; going by the fact that she had gone for the film's audition. However latest reports reveal that the offer has been bagged by the Soap Queen Sakshi Tanwar, of 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki' famed.

As per sources, Sakshi won the part after the casting team went through nearly 70 women during auditions. Some of them came from remote places in Haryana and Punjab while some were not-so-popular television actresses. It is said that Aamir himself enacted few scenes with the actresses to see if they match to the movie's requirements. However Sakshi won over everyone. She is said to undergo training in Haryanvi and take lessons from real life Haryanvi couple, since she and Aamir play aged wife and husband. The makers want Sakshi to get not only her diction right but also her body language.
