Aamir Khan's brother returns to big screens with 'Chinar - Daastaan-E-Ishq'

Sharique Minhaj's directorial titled Chinar - Daastaan-E-Ishq', marks the return of Faisal Khan, the Mela' famed actor and brother of Aamir Khan.

For the records, Sharique Minhaj and Faisal had earlier worked together in Chand Bujh Gaya' and thus share good rapport. And with Chinar - Daastaan-E-Ishq' Faisal is coming back to movies nearly after nine years and coincidently with the same director.

As per media reports, Chinar - Daastaan-E-Ishq' is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of beautiful Kashmir and here Faisal plays the lead along with Inayaat Sharma, Dilip Tahil, Pramod Moutho and Shahbaaz Khan among others. However, going by the film's setting, the makers have clarified that the film is not about terrorism but it is about a love story between a poor boy, who is in love with a girl next door.

Incidentally, the film is an adaptation of Jheel Jalti Hai' a bestseller by noted Kashmir-based Urdu novelist Khwaja Farooq Ranzu Shah.
