Aamir Khan afraid of clash with Rajinikanth

When a Rajinikanth film is slated for a release, usually other films tread it safely by trying as much as possible to not clash with Thalaivar. Seems like Rajini’s probable release of ‘2.0’ around Diwali became an unsettling worry for Aamir Khan. Answering fan questions on his social page, Aamir spoke his mind on the subject.

“I really hope that 2.0 doesn’t release with my film or any other flick, as it would be a big problem for us. Rajinikanth is a very big star and I respect him a lot,” Aamir said. Aamir is eyeing a Diwali release as well for his much anticipated ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which is an action-adventure drama which also has Amitabh Bachchan in an important role.

It is also worth mentioning here that Aamir Khan was asked for the role of Akshay’s in ‘2.0’ which he refused. ‘2.0’ is made on a whopping budget of 450 crores and is Rajini’s most awaited after ‘Kaala’.
