Sharing glimpses on Instagram, Ira showcased the Maharashtrian-style festivities, featuring family and friends, including Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao and son Azad Rao Khan enjoying a traditional meal on banana leaves.

During the Kelvan, Ira was seen capturing moments and humorously remarked, "Get married to a Maharashtrian and have a Kelvan. How fun is this?" Close friend Mithila Palkar also joined in, sharing joyful moments from the event, wishing the couple and expressing her excitement for the upcoming wedding.

While Ira adorned a red cotton saree, Nupur looked dashing in a red kurta, marking the start of their wedding celebrations. Although Aamir Khan wasn't seen in the shared photos or videos, reports suggest the couple will tie the knot on January 3. Their engagement last year was followed by an engagement party attended by family and close friends, including Aamir, Kiran, Reena, Imran Khan, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Expressing his emotions about Ira's special day, Aamir mentioned his anticipation of being highly emotional and expecting tears of joy during her wedding.
