Aamir Khan participates in Green India Challenge

Aamir Khan is the latest film celeb to take part in the Green India challenge, also known as the Haritha Haram project. The Bollywood superstar was in Hyderabad on Sunday and he planted saplings at the Begumpet Airport.
The actor was seen with Naga Chaitanya in the main. Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar, who is the architect of the green drive, was also present. The 'Dangal' actor urged everyone to take part in the noble initiative. The 'Laal Singh Chadhha' actor also suggested that the Green India Challenge is driving many people to do their bit to green the country.
Since last year, more than sixty celebs have participated in the Challenge. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently lauded Santosh Kumar for floating the initiative.
Aamir Khan, after the Challenge, graced the pre-release event of 'Love Story'. There, he praised everyone from Naga Chaitanya to Sai Pallavi and Sekhar Kammula.
