Pan Indian Superstar Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' released to overwhelming positive reviews on December 23, 2016 for the Christmas weekend. Now it has been officially confirmed by the Trade pundits, this film which is a biopic on Indian Wrestler and Olympic Coach Mahavir Singh Phogat has entered the magic 100 crore club in just three days of release.
'Dangal' has collected close to Rs.107 crores from across the globe in its first weekend and this includes the income from the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions. The lion's share comes from the collections on Sunday contributing Rs.42.35 crores.
As we had reported earlier today, the film directed by Nitesh Tiwari has performed extremely well in Chennai with the opening weekend collections crossing Rs.1 crore.

It is to be noted that the film has acquired a 'Tax Free' status which means the gross collections will be the Net share for all the stakeholders.
'Dangal' is the fifth Aamir Khan starrer to enter the 100 Crore club after 'Ghajin', 'Three Idiots', 'Dhoom 3' and 'PK'.
