One downside of social media is that it has given jobless people a platform to complain and spread toxicity in order to make their life seem meaningful. We often see celebs and individuals face flak for really trvial reasons. Recently, actor Aamir Khan faced massive backlash on Twitter for his latest advertisment of Ceat tyres.
In the advert, Aamir plays a cricket enthusiast who gives some safety precautions about bursting firecrackers. He explains that bursting crackers on roads can cause accidents so it is better to burst them in safe and open environment. However, this didn't go well with a certain group of people who ignored the safety message of the ad and labelled it as anti Hindu.
These people have making memes and demanding to boycott Aamir Khan as well as Ceat Tyres for being Hindu phobic. In order to justify one wrong with another, these people pulled up images of people offering namaz on road and claimed that taking precautions while bursting crackers is actually an attack on their culture.
