Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, is gearing up for an extravagant wedding with Nupur Shikhare in Udaipur. Their sangeet, held on Tuesday night, became the center of attention online with numerous visuals surfacing from the event. The couple made a spectacular entry at the adorned venue, dancing to the tune of "Afreen Afreen."
During the sangeet, Aamir Khan dedicated a special song to his daughter, accompanied by his ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad. Together, they rendered a beautiful version of "Phoolon Ka Taron Kaa," all dressed in traditional attire. Azad notably took charge during the verse "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai."
Ira looked stunning in an embroidered lehenga, adding an unconventional touch with a red Riding Hood-inspired cape instead of a dupatta. Meanwhile, Nupur Shikhare looked sharp in a suit. The venue was filled with more performances from close friends and family, as shared by several guests through videos and photos.
Before the sangeet, the couple organized a football match and a workout session for their wedding guests. Ira, in a photo from the match, captioned, "Bride bringing the A game," dressed in sports attire. Another video showcased Nupur preparing for the festivities, attempting challenging workouts before the ceremony.
The couple officially registered their marriage in Mumbai on January 3, witnessed by friends and family. Their grand wedding in Udaipur is scheduled for Wednesday, followed by a lavish reception in Mumbai on January 13, expected to host Aamir's friends and colleagues from Bollywood and the South film industries.
