Aamir Khan - Udhayanidhi Stalin’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ trailer is promising!

Udhayanidhi Stalin is a successful actor, producer and distributor in Tamil cinema. He recently teamed up with Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan for the latter's dream project 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Udhay's Red Giant Movies is set to release the film in Tamil Nadu and the movie's Tamil trailer landed on the internet last night.
Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Indian adaptation of the 1994 Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump', which itself is based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Winston Groom. Forrest Gump is considered one of the greatest movies of all time. Aamir Khan reprises the titular role played by Tom Hanks in the original and Kareena Kapoor portrays his love interest.
Mona Singh will be seen as Aamir Khan's mother. Naga Chaitanya, who is making his Hindi debut with Laal Singh Chaddha, is playing Aamir's best friend. The film's synopsis reads, "Laal Singh Chaddha is the story of a simple man whose extraordinary journey will fill you with love, warmth, happiness and it will also make you laugh." (sic)
Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the screens worldwide on August 11. Pritam is composing the musical score for the movie with cinematography by Setu (ISC) and editing by Hemanti Sarkar while Amitabh Bhattacharya takes care of the lyrics. The film will have a Pan-Indian release in multiple languages.
