Aamir adds one more feather to his cap with his debut directorial 'Taare Zameen Par' moving into Oscars. Released on December 21, 2007, the film won accolades across the far-flung corners of the globe for its universal theme. With Amole Gupta penning the script, Aamir Khan spelled his trenchant piece of work as a director as well performer.

For the finest appraisal, Aamir introduced a great actor Darsheel Safary, who carried entire film on his shoulders. Aamir Khan was bit disappointed during last time in Oscars for his Lagaan didn't make up for triumph in the category of Best Foreign Film.
