Aamir Khan is often considered the one superstar who doesn't follow the beaten track. With a range of films in the 2000s, he carved a separate path. And, now, when most celebs are themselves not inclined to watching movies in theatres, he has watched a movie in a cinema hall post the months-long lockdown.
'Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari' (Hindi), starring Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is the one the 'PK' actor has watched. Fatima was seen as his daughter in 'Dangal'. Taking to Twitter before attending a show on Tuesday night, the 'Thugs Of Hindostan' star wrote, “On my way to see Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari in a Cinema Hall. Really looking forward to the big screen experience, after so long !” The actor watched it in a Mumbai theatre.
Released on November 15, the Bollywood film reportedly collected a nett of Rs 75 lakh on Day 1. It's a decent amount, considering the low occupancy levels mandated by COVID-related guidelines.
