Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan made her relationship with rumoured boyfriend Nupur Shikhare official on social media on the occasion of Promise Day during the Valentine's Week celebrations.

Sharing a series of pictures with the fitness trainer, Ira Khan wrote, "It's an honour to make promises with and to you." Speculations of the couple dating were afloat when Nupur made numerous appearances on Ira's Instagram profile. She had poated a message for Nupur last year, calling him the trainer who had changed her life. "This is going to sound cheesy and corny and maybe a little creepy but if you have/have had a trainer who's changed your life in small ways for the big way... You'll get it. There are very few people in life who make you a full point happier... Popeye does it for me without trying. Just existing," she had written. Ira Khan is Aamir Khan's second child with his former wife Reena Dutta. Aamir and Reena were married for 16 years before they mutually separated in 2002. The 24-year-old had revealed late last year that she was diagnosed with clinical depression and that she has been battling mental health issues for over four years now.

"I am depressed I have been for more than four years now. I've been to a doctor and I'm clinically depressed. I'm doing much better now. For over a year now, I wanted to do something for mental health, but I wasn't sure what to do. So, I have decided to take you on a journey, my journey, and see what happens. Hopefully, we will get to know ourselves slightly better, understand mental illness better," Ira had stated in a video on World Mental Health day.
