Aamir Khan's sports drama 'Dangal' leaning on woman empowerment has now become the first Indian movie to cross the INR 2000 Crores collections largely boosted by the Chinese box office where it is a phenomenal hit. In its 53rd day in China the film has grossed 2.5 Crores where it is also the 16th all time grosser in the market.
'Dangal' is also the fifth highest grossing non-English language film in history and the biggest money spinning live action sports movie at the worldwide box office in 2017. S.S. Rajamouli fans need not despair as 'Baahubali 2' has not yet opened its account in China and a few other territories and when that happens the numbers game will definitely go for a change.
