Another Indian film collects Rs.1000 crores

Actor Aamir Khan's critically acclaimed blockbuster 'Dangal' has become the second Indian film to collect Rs.1000 crores at the box office.

Last week. director S.S.Rajamouli's 'Baahubali 2' scripted a new history in Indian cinema as it collected Rs.1000 crores from worldwide theatricals, being the first Indian film to achieve this feat.

'Dangal', a Sports Drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari released on December 23, 2016. The film won unanimous critical acclaim all over the country and also turned out to be a blockbuster. Recently the film was released in China and today the film is running successfully with houseful shows for the ninth day.

With today's collections, the overall collections made by 'Dangal' will cross Rs.1000 crores.

'Dangal' has been produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures.
