Superstar Aamir Khan has a work style which totally distinct from any other star in the Bollywood. He values quality over quantity, which is why instead of pumping out three to five mediocre movies in a year, he takes his time to give all he has into one project every two years or so. Aamir's films are always hit on the box office with at least 100 crore earnings. The actor founded the 100 crore club as his 2008 flick 'Ghajini' was the first project to earn 100 crores. But as it turns out, Aamir doesn't really care about the commercial success of his films.

What means to him more is the fact the people enjoy his work and recommend others to witness it too. In an interview given to NDTV a few years ago, Aamir said, "If 10 people see my movie and all ten really love it, then that means a lot to me. Rather than ten million people go and see it and most of them hate it. Box office is one of the indicators, that just tells me how many people have seen it. If box office numbers go up after the release that's an indication that word of mouth is good. I am not interested in hitting a record or a high mark with the number. How does it matter if a film makes 100 crore or 115 crore or 95 crore? It doesn't matter."

Aamir, who wants his work to stand the test of time and become gave the example of classic flicks and said, "No one remembers how much Pyaasa and Sholay made. So, how is box office relevant in the long run?”
