Director Jayaraj's magnum opus 'Veeram', which is made with a whopping budget of Rs 35 Crores, has been hogging headlines ahead of its hugely anticipated release with its stunning trailer and posters. After the recent trailer launch of the movie, not only Kerala audience and celebrities, but also Bollywood biggies such as Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar expressed their excitement on the project.

The latest celebrities to shower praises for the movie are Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. "All the best Kunnu! The trailer looks great!," wrote Aamir Khan on his social media page. Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan posted, "This looks like all kinds of awesomeness! Well done to the brother @kapoorkkunal can't wait to see #Veeram."

The tri-lingual movie set in the backdrop of 13th century Kerala, is an adaptation of William Shakespeare`s play, Macbeth, that tells the story of Kerala`s folkloric anti-hero, Chandu. Bollywood hunk Kunal Kapoor plays the main lead in Veeram which is shot in three languages - English, Hindi and Malayalam. This mega budget film is jointly produced by Chandramohan D Pillai and Pradeep Rajan under the banner of Chandrakala Arts. The film will be brought to the theatres by Lal Joses's LJ Films on February 24, 2017.
