In June, Natural Star Nani announced a film titled 'Meet Cute' as a producer. Directed by debutante Deephit Ghanta (who is his sister), the film has been shot for the past couple of weeks.

The news is that 'Malli Raava' actress Aakanksha Singh has been roped in as one of the protagonists. The film is an anthology (like 'Ghost Stories' on Netflix) and has got five different stories to tell. The 'Devadas' and 'Pailwaan' actress will be headlining one of the segments.

It's learned that Aakanksha, who is quite a choosy actress, has shot for her portions already. The 30-year-old actress is also doing the Hindi-language film 'Mayday', which has Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles.

As for 'Meet Cute', its music is by Vijay Bulganin. Vasanth Kumar is its director of photography. Avinash Kolla, the much sought-after production designer, is also on board.

As an actor, Nani is doing 'Tuck Jagadish' and 'Shyam Singha Roy'. The latter resumed its shoot last week in Hyderabad. Sai Pallavi is its main female lead.
