The film has been chosen to be screened during the 36th Toronto film festival that will be held from September 8th to 18th. Everyone behind the success of this film is absolutely thrilled that after its success in India the film has taken off to foreign soil. They are also confident about the film doing a decent round in Toronto too.

'Aadukalam', based on a village story in Tamil Nadu, had Dhanush playing the lead with Taapsee Pannu as his heroine. G.V. Prakash's music became a chartbuster in Tamil Nadu.
