Director Aadhik Ravichandran, who had debuted 3 years back with the adult comedy entertainer Trisha Illana Nayanthara, went on to direct Simbu aka STR in the much expected biggie Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan AAA, which had Simbu in multiple looks and dual roles, and costarred Tamannaah and Shriya Saran as the female leads.

However, despite much hype, the movie ended a colossal disaster, following which Aadhik, after a break returned to direction, as he has two directorial ventures in his kitty - Kadhalai Thedi Nityanandha with his Trisha Illana Nayanthara hero GV Prakash, and another untitled flick that will have Prabhudeva playing the lead role. However, the director is all set to unleash another aspect of him sooner.

While it's a known fact that Aadhik has been roped in to play one of the antagonists in the Thala Ajith starrer remake of Pink directed by H.Vinoth, it has been revealed that he will be playing a crucial cameo in the upcoming thriller K-13 directed by debutant Barath Neelakantan, and starring Arulnithi and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles. The movie will also have Gayathrie Shankar in a special appearance.
