Director Arivazhagan, a protege of director Shankar, had made his debut with the supernatural thriller movie Eeram which was produced by Shankar himself in his S Pictures banner, and the movie starring Aadhi Pinisetty, Sindhu Menon, Saranya Mohan, Nandha and Srinath was a surprise hit at the box office.

Following the movie, Arivazhagan directed the basketball based action flick Vallinam with Nakul and Mridula, and the movie was met with lukewarm response and the director struck form with his medical thriller Kuttram 23 starring Arun Vijay and Mahima in lead roles.

While he was supposed to team up with Lady Superstar Nayanthara next, the project has not made progress yet and now it has been revealed that Arivazhagan is all set to join hands with his Eeram hero Aadhi yet again for a horror flick. An official announcement is expected soon.
