After striking big in his first three movies, Sean is back with another low budget movie. The composer has given some tremendous numbers in his previous flicks; does he maintain his standard, and consolidates his position as a music director? Come, let’s find out.. Odura Nari – Sean Roldan Listen here The album opens up with a terrific, all in all show from the composer, who has sung and written the lyrics. Going by the lyrics, the song could be used as a montage number, and Sean showcases his brilliance with guitars once again to build a nice pace throughout the song. The sing along verses, onnu rendu, ek do, moonu then, naalu chaar is quite funky, and you might end up singing the same for a day or two. Thanniyila – Pradeep Kumar, Divya Ramani Listen here From guitars to Violins, Sean takes us to the world of melody with Pradeep Kumar leading the way. The specialty of this song is; after every verse, Sean delivers the same from the instruments, and that makes the song sounds too good. The composer goes on to implement the same strategy in the second stanza by letting the lead singers take over the song and follows them with his piano. A gorgeous melody which re-invents the age old composition formula in a contemporary way. Nalellam – Shakthishree Gopalan Listen here The album heads to a folk number driven by flawless vocals of, Shakthishree. So far, it’s 3/3 for Sean for delivering different genres in as many songs. GKB’s lyrics are simple yet captivating – ‘Verum sothil suvai edhaiyaa, unakku venjirama naan vaarenya’ verses like these exhibits the playful character in beautiful rural Tamil. The flute portions which starts in the first prelude is exhilarating, and goes on to wrap up the proceedings wonderfully well. One Day Enum Match – Alphonse Joseph Listen here Amidst a glorious rock’ish background, the track is not so exciting. Alphonse Joseph tries his best to sound like a rock star, but, the tune lets him down. The lyrics too doesn’t serve the purpose. The song could have been composed for a, Cat & Mouse situation, still Sean could have done something better to avoid the first low point in a progressive graph. Nall Ketukka Padam – A.L. Raghavan, Sean Roldan Listen here Albeit the lyrics are pretty platitudinous penned by, Ramesh Vaidya, the song redefines the cool quotient to a great extent. Sean combines the foot tapping chords with A.L. Raghavan’s vocals to dish out a new age rhyme. Sean somehow redeems his lost form with the previous number, and ends the album on a high note.
