Aa Ondu Dina – obviously points to the ‘Election Day’ – Ravindra Gowda N Patil has written the story from real life incidents for this film besides lending screenplay, dialogues and producing this film.

A farmer of northern Karnataka growing grapes is testing whether the grape he has grown for silver screen is sour or sweet. The real life political developments are part of this film. In the interior villages the political heads appeasing the voters with money, liquor and entertainment is common.

For Karnataka state Assembly elections around the corner this film is made with a good approach. Do not vote on the basis of who gives much money or liquor. Vote for right people is the humble appeal of this producer Patil.

Director Sanjay has taken the real life villagers for the cast of his film. Two prominent personalities of this film are villagers not faced the camera till the start of this film. At least one percent of the people change for better my effort is satisfied says producer Patil.

Girish Kumar is editor of this film. A 5th standard qualified Beera who was playing the role of Abhimanyu in village mythological plays is in important role of this film.
