Lollu Sabha fame comedy actor Maaran clarifies about his health

Earlier this morning popular comedy actor Maaran aka Manimaran passed away at the age of 48 due to the COVID 19 infection. He has acted in many films including 'Ghilli', 'Thalainagaram', 'Boss Engira Bhaskaran' , 'KGF Chapter 1' and the upcoming 'Sarpatta Parambarai'.

Some print and web media while reporting the death mistakenly posted the photo of another comedy actor Maaran and his family and friends became concerned. Maaran is very popular for his roles in the television show 'Lollu Sabha' and has also acted in several movies including Santhanam's 'A1'.

Maaran has posted a video clarification in which he has stated that he is well and has also requested all those watching to take extreme care of themselves in the trying coronavirus pandemic second wave period.
