'A1 Express', which hit the screens on March 5 (Friday), is on its way to becoming a hit. In three days, the sports drama's total worldwide share stood at Rs 3.08 Cr.
It's learned that the theatrical rights of the Sundeep Kishan-starrer were sold for Rs 4 Cr. So, the Dennis Jeevan directorial will start making profits soon.
Nizam's Rs 97 lakh, Ceded's Rs 31 lakh, Nellore's Rs 15 lakh, Krishna's Rs 27 lakh, Guntur's Rs 26 lakh, Vizag's Rs 43 lakh, East Godavari's Rs 29 lakh, West Godavari's Rs 21 lakh, Karnataka's Rs 10 lakh and the Rest of India's Rs 9 lakh complete the picture.
Staring Lavanya Tripathi as the heroine, the film clashed with 'Power Play', 'Play Back' and other movies. As per box-office reports, the other movies have turned out to be a damp squib in terms of collections.
Featuring Rao Ramesh and Murli Sharma in key roles, 'A1 Express' has music by Hiphop Tamizha, whose background music has come in for praise alongside Kavin Raj's cinematography.
