There is no phenomenon like Rajinikanth in Kollywood.

Not for nothing is he called the superstar.

When he was considered down and out in the industry, Rajinikanth has proved everyone wrong through Chandramukhi.

The film is the mother of all hits in Tamil. It has broken all the box office hits across the State. It has also made huge collections in neighboring Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and even in Sri Lanka, Durban in South Africa and few places in Malaysia.

Released amidst great hype and expectations, the movie produced by Sivaji Production completed its 100-day run on thespian Sivaji Ganesan's death anniversary on 21st July.

Crediting the victory to entire team, Rajinikanth had appreciated P Vasu and also heaped praises on Jyothika for playing the role of a woman affected by personality disorder.

Released on Tamil New Year's day, the movie had a fantastic opening quite typical to Rajinikanth's earlier movies and prove that he is still the Badshah of Box Office here.

Not just the producers but also the distributors and exhibitors have made enough profits thanks to Chandramukhi's success.

Now the whole talk is on what Rajni's next project would be.

Keep them guessing, Rajni.
