It's the season of young directors making their debut in Malluwood. Adding to the long list is Joseph Nettayam, who will be directing a movie titled Balyam.

Interestingly Balyam does not have a huge star cast. It features Jagadish in the lead role and Tara Balachandran acting opposite him. After a long gap, Jagadish plays the lead role.

According to the director, the movie is about a working couple. And both have their busy schedules. Though both make money, they aren't happy with the way the child is being brought up.

When Malluwood is dominated by hero-centric stories, such movies are a welcome change, say a few well-wishers of the Malayalam film industry.

Let's hope Joseph Nettayam succeeds in his debut venture and set a new trend in Malluwood.
