What will you do if the film featuring yourself as the hero goes on to become flops, back to back? An option is to try to present yourself differently, sometimes even to the extent of becoming a hardcore villain. That is exactly what Jayaram thought to do in this crunch stage of his career. This gentle looking actor will be seen in a never seen before villainous role in 'Dhaam-Dhoom', the last film directed by Jeeva.

The movie will also feature Jayam Ravi, Kangana Raunat, and Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles. This action-packed movie which was completed by Jeeva’s wife Aneez, Guru P.C. Sriram and his associates, after the director's untimely death will tell the story of a young man from a small town whose peaceful life suddenly turns upside down, in one of his trips to Russia.

Though Jayaram is going through rough patches in Mollywood that cannot be said about his roles in Kollywood. The actor keeps himself busy with plenty of roles in Tamil .He has plenty of films in Kollywood including ‘Saroja’ with Prakashraj and ‘Aiyndham Padai’ with Sundar C.

Meanwhile Jayaram will have a release this week in Mollywood. His latest 'Veruthe Oru Bharya’, directed by Akku Akbar is planning to get to theatres by the weekend. The movie which carries good preview reports may end up as a hit, giving big relief to Jayaram.
