Among the forthcoming releases Okkadunnadu holds lot of promise.Chandrasekhar Yeleti is a director who uses the possibilities in both the format and content to work a good script.

His films always carry a twist in the tail.

Okkadunnadu, he says, has some unique points. It is about blood groups and allied ideas.

The interesting aspect is that the hero Gopichand, who enjoys a mass hero image, has tried to measure up to Yeleti's multiplex and urban ideas while the director has tried mix the mass elements suited to Gopichand.

So the film is a marriage of both the schools. There is also the hand of Krishna Vamsi, who is choreographing a couple of song sequences. That adds to the allure of it all.

Keeravani's songs are said to be outstanding.Neha Jhulka is full of class and conviction.

Cherry, the brother in law of Ram Gopal Varma, has not scrimped on any expense.

The idea is to give guaranteed entertainment, he points out.

The makings are all there. Certainly.
