A triumphant return

Actor Vijayakanth, who floated his own political party Desiya Marumalarchi Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) in Madurai on 14 September, returned to Chennai on Sunday afternoon by air.
The members of his newly floated political party gave him a rousing reception at the Chennai airport and greeted him with slogans.
Later in the evening,he is said to have had discussions with his close associates to select the office-bearers of his party.
Meanwhile, Vijayakanth has made elaborate plans to tour every village in all the 234 constituency to interact with the masses which would begin this December.
