Normally producers and directors, when hard selling their movies, tend to use words like ‘commercial ingredients’, ‘masala elements’, ‘class theme’.

But Tammareddy Bharadwaja, whose film Pothe Poni (previously named Bullet), is now almost ready for release, uses words like‘thought-provoking’ and ‘serious stuff’.

The producer-director said at the audio launch that the movie was no run of the mill. It talks about the naxal movement ---in a holistic sort of way, bringing both the positives and negatives to the fore.

The film stars Siva Balaji and Sindhu Tolani in the leads.

Music is by Vicky J Meyers and the audio was released at Dasari Narayana Rao’s house.

Dasari gave a thumbs-up for the whole project. He said the whole idea was sensitive and has been well handled by Tammareddy Bharadwaja.

Dasari also suggested the title change from Bullet.

The man at the center of it all, Tammareddy, also spoke how contemporary the theme is and how he chose his ideas from regular papers.

Now, it is for him to make the headlines for the right reasons through the film.
