'Saat phere' is a something that is known by each and everyone regardless of the religion he/she belongs to. But what happens when there is an additional half 'phera' thrown in? Where does it come from? What is its significance?

All these questions are answered by Juhi Chawla-Irrfan Khan starrer '7 1/2 Phere' that releases this 29th July. This medium budgeted satire on the way satellite channels are invading our lives by even daring to enter our living rooms [and bed rooms], '7 1/2 Phere' is poised to be a one of its kinds experience.

'7 1/2 Phere' is a comedy revolving around a household where celebrations around a marriage are in progress. All this happens while hidden cameras are installed by a satellite channel [with help from a family member] to cover the event.

Now this is what implies an additional 'half phera' in the form of external forces that comes up in addition to the traditional '7 Pheres' meant to unite two souls!!
