A statue for Puri Jagannadh

While it's not uncommon to see fans of heroes going to any extent in expressing their love towards their icons, directors don't command a cult following. Exceptions are there. The likes of RGV and now Rajamouli. And Puri Jagannadh has had a wide fan base of his won since the days of 'Idiot'. Imagine a statue being a built for such a director.

The news is that a group of Puri Jagannadh die-hard fans have built a statue of the director at the residence of a fan from Karimnagar. The same was unveiled yesterday (April 30) by Akash, the director's actor-son.
