He has become a most sought-after director in Malluwood thanks to his stupendous success in Chaandupottu starring Dileep.
The film has succeeded because of its off-beat theme and style. An elated Lal Jose, says, 'I decided to go ahead with an unconventional theme instead of sticking to the usual 'hit formula' and luckily, it has been well-received.'

He is all set to go ahead with his next film, 'Achchanurangatha Veedu' with Salim Kumar as the hero. To make a film with a comedian as the hero takes real guts. Lal Jose has shown that he has plenty of that.
