A sequel to 'Robo' on the cards ?

It is well-known how big a hit, Rajinikanth and Shankar's magnum opus 'Robo' ('Endhiran' in Tamil) was. This film, which was made on a huge budget, had set the cash registers ringing at the box-office.

Now the film circles are abuzz that Shankar and Rajinikanth will team up once again for the sequel to this film. There are also reports that Eros International, which produced Rajinikanth's recent release 'Kochadaiiyaan' ('Vikramasimha' in Telugu), has come forward to produce this film, which will made on a very huge budget of over 200 crores.

No official announcement about the project is made yet, but it is said that Shankar is ready with the script of the sequel film. Currently Shankar is busy with the work of 'Manoharudu' (Telugu version of 'Ai') with Vikram and Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa' with K.S.Ravikumar is on the floors now.

Of late, there were also rumours that there will be a sequel to 'Vikramasimha', but it has been also not confirmed officially.
