A sequel to August 1

In the season of sequels, Megastar Mammootty is coming up with a sequel to one of his old movies. The new movie on discussion will be a sequel to ÂAugust 1Â, a big hit of late nineties. Mammootty had been in the original as a character named Perumal, a brainy investigative officer.
ÂAugust 1Â was specially noted film from Sibi Malayil, as it was much different from the style of his regular sentimental movies. And so the rumour industry is in the talks that Sibi Malayil may not be the director and a young face will step in to call the shots. The shoot for the movie is expected to start by the first months of next year.
